INSPIRE SHE Program

INSPIRE Stands for Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research. This is innovative programme sponsored and managed by the Department of Science and Technology for attraction of talent of Science. This program is mainly to inspire students for research in science. SHE program stands for Scholarship for Higher Education.

I am trying to write above steps in my own words:
As it is application for all types of application, first step is read guidelines first. Then follow the instructions step by step. If you face any problem anywhere, please contact me at this blog or you can write me personal email. Shortly speaking, there are 3 steps to fill the form:

• Step I: New User Registration
• Step II: Scan and Save the following documents
• Step III: Online Application

Now, I am going to explain above steps in details. Step I:

• Step 1: If you have a working email id, you can use that email id. If you don't have personal email id, please create it with any of the service. You can have email on your private server or you can create an email id on free online services as: gmail, yahoo mail, rediffmail, mail.com outlook etc.
• Step 1: Open the url: http://www.online-inspire.gov.in
• Step 2: Click at New User? Register here
• Step 3: Here it will ask for some of your personal details. Some of them are as follows:
• Salutation : You can choose whichever is suitable like: Mr or Miss
• First Name: Please enter your name as mentioned in your Class XII Mark Sheet.
• Gender: Male/Female (still others option is not there.) You can report it to inspire.
• Mobile Number: Your mobile number which is working.
• Date of Birth (MM/DD/YYYY): Your date of birth as it is in your DOB certificate.
• Login Email: Your valid and functional email address.
• Password: You have to choose a hard password. In general it should not be same as your email id. Since, you have to put a hard password which includes upper case (capital), lower case (small) letters, number and special sign.
• Eligibility Criteria: For this program, you have to choose 12th. Since top 1% students will get this scholarship.
• Identification Details: You have to give little detail of any mark on your body which is most probably unique for you.
• Captcha Verification: You have to type the text given in image. It tells that you are not a robot/bot.
• Step 4: Click on Submit.

Now you will get verification email about your registration in your email.

Step II: Before filling application form, please scan and store the following documents as separate files. The same needs to be uploaded as required during the "On-line Application" process. Documents are as follows:

1. Passport size photograph (Mandatory) JPEG File with maximum size 50 kB
2. Community/Caste certificate (only if the applicant belongs to OBC/SC/ST) pdf type with maximum size 1 MB.
3. Eligibility Note/Advisory Note if provided by the State/Central Board (Not mandatory) pdf type with maximum size 1 MB.
4. Class XII mark sheet (mandatory) pdf type with maximum size 1 MB.
5. Class X Mark sheet or Certificate, for proof of Date of Birth (Mandatory) pdf type with maximum size 1 MB.
6. Certificate specifying Rank or Award in JEE (Main)/ JEE (Advanced)/ NEET/ KVPY /JBNSTS/ NTSE / International Olympic Medallists [Only if the candidate is eligible under this criteria] pdf type with maximum size 1 MB.

8. Any other supporting documents pdf type with maximum size 1 MB.

Be careful, ensure that the scanned document files listed above are legible and readable. Applications submitted with illegible documents are liable to be rejected.

Step III: Process of online application:

• Step 1: LOG in to the portal by entering the Registered Email ID as User Name and the registered password.
• Step 2: A screen will appear where you have to click ‘Scholarship’ link.
• Step 3: After clicking on ‘Scholarship’ link, please click the button ‘Apply for Scholarship’
• Step 4: Fill in the fields one by one by clicking the EDIT button.
