In this blog, I shall write what is written on the back of mark-sheet of Semester system. It is as follows:

- The Examination is based on (a) Semester Examination (b) Continuous Assessment (c) Choice Based Credit System and (d) Relative Grading and Semester Grade Point Average and Cumulative Grade Point Average system as provided in O. 199F1 to O. 199F5.
- The Credit Courses have been classified as (i) Compulsory Core Courses (CCC) (ii) Elective Core Courses (ECC) (iii) Seminar (SEM) (iv) Project Work (PRJ) (v) Field Study (FST) (vi) Self Study Courses (SSC) (vii) Other Supportive Courses (OSC) and (viii) Research Publications (RPJ).
- The provisions of revaluation and improvement in the annual scheme examination shall also be applicable in the Semester Examinations Scheme (EoSE) for PG Courses.
- Scrutiny/Re-valuation of marks will be permitted on request on payment of prescribed fee within 15 days of declaration of result. As a consequence of scrutiny/ Re-valuation, if the grade of the examinee in a particular paper(s) is changed, his/her grade shall also be changed accordingly. However, any such change shall not affect the grade already allotted to other examinees.
- Grade in particular examination registered in the courses are awarded on the basis of percentage of marks, namely 'O', 'A', 'B', 'C', 'D', 'E' and 'F' if percentage is between range 75-100, 65-74, 55-64, 45-54, 33-44, 25-32, 0-24 respectively.
- The candidate who has not been permitted to appear in EoSE of a particular credit as he/she does not fulfill the minimum 75% attendance requirement and clear Continuous Assessment will be assigned Administrative Grade 'Z'. The candidate who has not been permitted to appear in EoSE as he/she failed to secure atleast 25% marks in all the courses (Papers) in the continuous assessment will be assigned Administrative Grade 'Y'. The candidate who withdraws his/her registration before the commencement of the EoSE will be assigned Administrative Grade 'W'. The candidate who remains absent in EoSE but was registered and was eligible to appear will be assigned Administrative Grade 'X'. The candidate who has been booked under UM and has been recommended Zero marks will be assigned Administrative Grade 'U'.
- Students with grade "E" or "F" or "U" or "X" in EoSE will have to get themselves re-registered in the course if they so desire with option either as a Self Study Course or as a regular course depending on the feasibility at the Department. Their CA Grades will be carried forwarded if registered as SSC.
- Students with grade "Z" will have to get themselves re-registered in the I/II/III/IV..... Semester course as a regular course if they so desire.
- In Continuous Assessment (CA) (Department/College/Institution wise) and End of Semester Examination (EoSE) (University as whole) separate Grades are awarded, as specified under ordinance. The continuous assessment consists of two components, namely, (i) Internal Assessment and (ii) Sessional Test(s) in ratio 30:70. The internal assessment component comprises of assessment of students performance on the basis of factors like attendance, classroom participation, Quiz, home Assignment etc.
- The SGPA, CGPA grade and percentage are assigned as per table given below.

Courses.
- A complete transcript of credits, grade obtained, SGPA and CGPA will be issued on declaration of each semester result and consolidated one on the accumulation of minimum credits required for the award of Master degree.
- The maximum period for accumulation of the credit for Award of Master degree is 5 years (8 years for Ten Semester courses) failing which the credits earned will stand withdrawn and null and void.
- In case of any mistake being detected during the preparation of the Grade Sheets or brought to notice afterwards, the University will be fully empowered to correct the same.
- All court cases shall be subject to the Jurisdiction of the Rajasthan University Head quarter i.e. Jaipur and not at any other place.
